Carolina is second in the league in rush yards thanks to running back Christian McCaffrey who clocks in with 502 yards in that category. McCaffrey made noise early in the game scoring on the Panthers first drive.

The Panthers are one game behind the Saints in the NFC South with a real chance of making the playoffs this year. This game will serve as a good test for how they play in a difficult stadium against a solid team. The Panthers are struggling to stop the Steelers offense which has highlighted Juju Smith-Schuster and James Connor.

The Steelers started the season out rocky but have found their rhythm and enter the game on a four game winning streak.

Still no Le’Veon Bell, but the Steelers have been making it work without him. James Connor has been filling in for the missing running back, with 706 yards rushing so far this season. Pittsburgh ranks 22nd in the league in rushing, but have been able to use their passing game paired with Connor’s contribution to make noise on offense.

The Steelers will honor the victims of the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting with custom cleats.
